A summer tradition has to be a lemonade stand.
Iayn was over yesterday after quilt camp, and has never done one and was intrigued by the idea. So she came back over today after camp and they started on their plan.
To put a twist on things, they added a bake sale.
They made peanut butter cookies, peanut butter rice krispie treats, and chocolate chip cookies along with lemonade and even snow cones!
It was lots of fun and many neighborhood kids came out to help. They made signs and rode their scooters up and down the street to attract customers.
They made $36 and want to donate it to charity.
Unfortunately, by the time the real traffic came by at 5:00, we were out of our baked goods and totally out of energy. Next time we'll start it later to hit the after-work crowd.

Yes we moved. Back to Logan Ut. I loved lemonade stands... When people didn't tip me I gave them pickle juice. I was kind of strange.

Sounds like a great time. I NEVER pass a kids stand without making a purchase...love that!
You guys have done a lot already for summer just starting! How fun!!
