Beach Day

Christian: (whispers) Mom, can Tyler to go to the rocks with me?

Mom: I bet Tyler would love to take you to the rocks. Why don't you ask him?

Christian: (whispers) You ask him.

Mom (quietly to Tyler): Hey Tyler, do you want to take Christian to the rocks?

Tyler: Me? (with an attitude of "do I have to? chillin' on the beach with my guitar is very relaxing")

(Kim and I tell him how much it would mean to Christian.)

Tyler: Hey Christian, do you want to go to the rocks with me??

Christian: BIG smile

and away they go!

Tyler is such a great kid! Christian was in awe of him. I wish they still lived close as all the Boynton boys are totally awesome.

And to little 5-year-old Christian, having an 18-year-old cousin "ask" to play with him is priceless!

It made his day.
