I was at the grocery store and High School Cheerleaders were selling mistletoe for a 'donation'.
It reminded me of when I was a child - we used to clip the mistletoe that grew on my grandpa's tree, put it in little sandwich baggies tied with a ribbon and sell it outside the Thrift-T-Mart.
I can picture the automatic door opening outward when each customer would walk upon the black mat censor and there we would be, eager to make money. I don't recall though how much we sold them for . . . 10 cents? 50 cents?
Chris, Mom, to either of you remember?
We taught the kids last night what the mistletoe means and what you are supposed to do when you find yourself underneath it with somebody. Then they said, "but mom and dad, you don't need that!" :-)

It use to grow in our neighbors tree behind us and sometimes they would climb up and pick from the branches hanging over our yard. One thing we don't have up yet.
