I Am Thankful

Thanksgiving is tomorrow (actually in a few minutes), and I think we are ready. I am so thankful for my new dining set. Just arrived! We had to angle it to fit all the leaves and chairs in. . .
I am so thankful for my husband to set the whole table while I was reading the bedtime stories. It was a nice surprise to come downstairs to!
I am thankful to have just inherited my great, great grandmother's china. This is so special to me as it was given to me by one of my best friends . . . my grandma Carol. She is preparing to move to Michigan (to live with my uncle as her health is failing). She will be here for Thanksgiving dinner and I am so glad I can use it for her to enjoy.
I am thankful for a creative husband who does fun things for our kids. He made templates of place cards for the kids to decorate tomorrow afternoon while we're finishing up cooking.
I am also thankful to have inherited my grandmother's silver tea set. Doesn't this make you want to do tea? I have always thought it to be so beautiful, I'm sure mainly because it was hers. I might be thinking something different after I have to polish it!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! We have a fun day planned for tomorrow: Turkey Bowl at 8:00 in the morning at the park (touch football), then we plan on seeing "Enchanted" and back home for turkey with all the trimmings! I just finished the making pies! Apple-cranberry, of course pumpkin, and lemon meringue. Yum!
