Since I was in NY for my birthday, we didn't get to celebrate as a family.
The following Saturday, I was out shopping and to lunch with my mom (annual birthday tradition) and I came home to this:
They did a great job and actually startled me! Too bad they didn't video it because for sure they'd be playing it back over and over laughing at my reaction.
Now I know why Brooke was calling me to find out how much longer I'd be.
It was so sweet and thoughtful. I love my family!
Later in the week we had an awesome and rare rain storm that brought this:
Makes you kind of feel like amid the political horridness out there right now,
there really is still HOPE (the real kind).
