More Summer Happenings

We have had such a fun and busy summer. I cannot believe it is about to come to a close with school starting on the 27th. There has not been one day where we've had nothing to do, nor have I heard "I'm bored" - come to think of it, there hasn't even been any fighting.

I hear from so many people that they can't wait for school to start because they are tired of the whining and fighting and having to entertain.

No way!

We are having way too much fun, especially because we are usually on the go, or have a minimum of 7 kids here, with 13 being not unheard of when we're home.

Instant Fun: Just Add Water!

One of the things we've done a few times is set up the giant water slide in the front yard. Friends and neighbors come over and play on this thing for hours! It is a great workout for the kids and they have an absolute blast.Monroe on the side slide

When they need a break, they just warm up on the driveway and have a little snack, then jump right back in (on?). It's always a treat to hear things like "This is the BEST day!" or "I can live in this thing!"
